As a 17-piece big band, the Jazz Ensemble showcases the improvisational ensemble talents of UW-Superior students. Stylistic variety is the hallmark of this group, which includes modern jazz, Latin jazz, romantic ballads and classic big-band standards.

The Jazz Ensemble performs frequently during the school year, including

the Tri-State Honor Band Festival in November,
campus concerts,
area high schools, and
the annual UW-Eau Claire JazzFest in March.
