Student-led jazz combos perform multiple times on and off campus. Particularly popular are the noontime “Jazz Lunch” concerts in the Yellowjacket Union Atrium.

Combos are the “chamber music” of jazz, allowing extensive opportunities for improvisation, aiding in the development of the musical personality of each player.
